Please join us on Tuesday June 17, 2025 6-9pm at El Barrio Artspace at 215 E 99th St in East Harlem for the fourth annual New Yorkers for Culture and Arts Awards Gala!
During the event we will present NY4CA's 2025 Awards to elected officials and artists/arts advocates who help our vision to thrive and who make New York City the cultural epicenter that it is. This year's awardees include culture heroes and advocates:
2025 Cultural Stewardship Award: NYC Council Speaker Adrienne E. Adams for her heroic work reversing the cuts to culture in last year's budget!
2025 Culture Hero: John Calvelli for his decades long work on behalf of NYC culture in many spaces, and for his lead role as a founder of NY4CA
2025 Artist Advocate: Clarence Maclin for his Academy Award-nominated work bringing his own story to the screen in the movie Sing Sing, highlighting the power of the arts for those caught in the criminal justice system.

The evening will include cocktails and delicious bites.
