Please join us on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 6-9pm at Mabou Mines at 150 1st Avenue in the Lower East Side for the fifth annual New Yorkers for Culture and Arts Awards Gala!

During the event we will present NY4CA's 2026 Awards to elected officials and artists/arts advocates who help our vision to thrive and who make New York City the cultural epicenter that it is. This year's awardees include culture heroes and advocates: 

2026 Artist Advocate Award: Camille A. Brown, Five-time Tony nominated director and choreographer

2026 Cultural Stewardship Award: Maurine Knighton, Chief program officer at the Doris Duke Foundation

2026 Culture Hero Award: Maria Torres-Springer, Former First Deputy Mayor of New York City, and president of the Charles H. Revson Foundation
